Glentower Lower Observatory is a well established guest house in Fort William, offering luxury accommodation to visitors to the Fort William and Ben Nevis area. Glentower was originally built as the home for the superintendent responsible for the meteorological observatory on the summit of Ben Nevis, where telegraph signals from the summit were received and passed on to shipping ports. It is one of the oldest and most respected buildings in Fort William.
